Climate March took place in more than 120 Countries across the Globe on 20th September. The Motive of the March was to Spread the Word that Something needs to be done about Climate Change Now. Pakistanis also answer the call to March against Climate Change in Vast Global Protest. A Citizen-Led Initiative was further Joined by many Celebrities. There were Chants, Slogans, Raising Placards during the March. Little did we know, that we were Marching and Protesting against ourselves.
The Motive Behind the Climate March
The Danger of Climate Change is not just Looming around but getting Worst Gradually. So, the Planet is dealing with the Devastating Climate Breakdown and Hurtles Towards Dangerous Tipping Point. Global Warming isn’t about Earth Getting Warmer but its also Producing many Complications including Animal Extinction, Rising Sea-Levels, and even Long Wildlife Fires like in Amazon.
However, Protesting Climate Change can be a really Thirsty Business. So, the Youth of the World is calling Respective Governments to do something very Serious regarding that Dangerous Thing.
The march will continue till September 27, with a series of walks and other activities declaring a Climate Emergency. People from Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad Join Hands to Participate in the Climate March.

So, who else has Brough About this Disastrous Change in the Climate if not us, HUMANS. We are Plastic-Lovers, Industrialists, and Deforests. So, Humans are real Culprits here. There’s no doubt that Future Generations will Regard our Period as the ‘Plastic Age’. This Thought will definitely send Shivers down our Spine.
It is believed that there is more than 95% Probability that Human Activities over the Past 50 Years have Warmed our Planet. So, Governments and Policymakers need to Prioritize Climate Change more than anything else.

Climate March in Pakistan: Many Celebrities are Joining Hands with People on Streets
It was one of the Largest-ever collective calls to action in a movement Fuelled by Social Media under the Hashtag of #ClimateStrike. More than 5,000 events were planned worldwide.
In Pakistan, the march was organized by Climate Action Now, and more than twenty cities from Pakistan participated in it. The march had Diversity in it. People ranging from their Early Teens to late 60s, all stood against the Same Issue.
Prominent Celebrities also Came forward to Raise Awareness regarding this Grave and Concerning issue.
The Pakistani VJ and actress Anoushey Ashraf participated in March. Sheneira Akram Participated in the March with full Energy.
Actor Ali Rehman Khan updated Participated with a Climate March poster.
Singer Shehzad Roy also posted about the march on his Instagram.
Celebrities as well as leaders, including Senator Sherry Rehman, called on people to participate in the climate march.
